Rah Gostar Naft Begins Construction of Well Sites and Access Roads at the Azar Oil Field

Rah Gostar Naft has begun construction of well sites and access roads for wells P-26, P-31, and P-36 at the Azar Oil Field in Mehran County, Ilam Province.

According to Rah Gostar Naft’s Public Relations Department, representatives of the client and supervising consultant, together with the company’s project management and execution teams, attended the site as earthworks officially commenced.

The project was awarded to Rah Gostar Naft by the Azar Oil Field Development Operations Company. It is intended to provide the infrastructure required for field-development activities, facilitate access to operational areas and support the continued development of the shared Azar Oil Field along the Iran–Iraq border.

Earthworks Underway at Wells P-26, P-31 and P-36

At the start of the operation, Mohammad Zanganeh, Rah Gostar Naft’s Project Manager and Deputy for Execution, visited the project site with representatives of the client and supervising consultant.

During the visit, the parties reviewed site mobilization, the start of earthworks, and the operational arrangements needed to advance the project in line with the approved schedule, technical specifications, and HSE requirements.

The scope of work includes earthworks, construction and preparation of the well sites for P-26, P-31 and P-36, development of access roads and flowline routes, and implementation of other supporting infrastructure specified in the project drawings and technical documents.

Drawing on its technical capabilities, specialist workforce and experience in civil engineering and oil-industry projects, Rah Gostar Naft will execute the work in compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements and the approved project schedule.

The Azar Oil Field is one of western Iran’s major shared oil fields. Completing its well-site infrastructure, access roads, and flowline routes is expected to facilitate field operations and help accelerate its development program.
