Sajjad Zakeri Reviews Final Stages of Vavan National Housing Project, Urges Faster Completion

Sajjad Zakeri, CEO of Rah Gostar Naft, visited the Shahid Soleimani National Housing Project in Vavan to review construction progress and the remaining obstacles to completing the residential blocks under the company’s responsibility for handover to the client.

According to Rah Gostar Naft’s Public Relations Department, Zakeri inspected the latest construction and building services activities, assessed the performance of site teams, and reviewed progress toward fulfilling the company’s contractual commitments. He was accompanied by the company’s technical and executive deputies, the project manager, and a group of engineers and site personnel. The visit focused on the project schedule, progress to date, and issues affecting completion.

The Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation of Tehran Province is the project client. Rah Gostar Naft is participating as the contractor responsible for delivering a portion of the project’s residential blocks. Its scope includes a range of construction and building services works required to prepare the units for handover.

The visit began with a project review meeting attended by Zakeri and the accompanying management and engineering teams. The site supervisor presented a report on completed activities and outstanding works, outlining issues affecting the continuation of site operations.

Participants then examined implementation challenges and measures to resolve the remaining obstacles. Discussions focused on advancing completion works and establishing the conditions needed for Rah Gostar Naft to fulfill its commitments across four residential blocks. Site reports and exchanges between management and project personnel informed an assessment of the resources required and the next steps.

Zakeri emphasized the need to complete the company’s commitments and prepare the blocks for handover as soon as possible. He noted that, given the interdependence of construction and building services activities, close coordination among site teams and a detailed review of outstanding works were essential at this stage.

Following the meeting, Zakeri toured different sections of the project with site managers to examine progress in greater detail. Emphasizing regular, systematic monitoring, he noted that assessing activities against the project schedule would provide a more realistic picture of progress.

He further stressed that the completion of each workstream must be coordinated with the others. Finishing construction works, completing electrical and mechanical installations, and conducting technical tests are interconnected elements of preparing the units for handover. Coordinated progress across these activities is essential to reaching that milestone.

According to the report presented to Zakeri, physical progress on the Shahid Soleimani National Housing Project in Vavan has exceeded 70 percent. Subject to the completion of outstanding works, the units within the four blocks under Rah Gostar Naft’s responsibility are expected to be ready for handover to the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation of Tehran Province in the near future.

Achieving this target depends on the pace of completion works and the resolution of remaining obstacles. Assessing physical progress alongside the scope and nature of outstanding activities therefore provides a more accurate basis for determining the completion timeline.

Preparing these blocks for handover requires the completion of both construction and building services works, together with the relevant technical tests. These activities form part of Rah Gostar Naft’s contractual responsibilities and are critical to the handover process.

At the conclusion of the visit, Zakeri thanked all site personnel involved in advancing the project and called for the remaining activities and final stages to be completed as quickly as possible.
