Sajjad Zakeri, CEO of Rah Gostar Naft, issued a condolence message marking the arrival of Muharram and the observances of Tasu’a and Ashura.
The message reads:
In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Peace be upon Hussein, upon Ali ibn Hussein, upon the children of Hussein, and upon the companions of Hussein.
What passion has once again stirred all creation?
What lamentation, sorrow, and mourning is this?
Ashura is a garden of the red cypresses of martyrdom and the crimson palms of sacrifice, and a school every seeker of God must encounter. Its lessons include loyalty, sacrifice, devotion, love, the pursuit of justice, resistance to oppression, dignity, protection of Islam and Islamic values, and the duty to promote good and prevent wrongdoing.
In this school, learning is not through words but through the soul. How beautiful it is to graduate from the school of Hussein (peace be upon him). Ashura is such a profound event that it moves hearts throughout history.
The pure blood of the martyrs of Karbala flows through history and each year stirs pure and devoted hearts more deeply. I extend my condolences on Tasu’a and Ashura to all devotees of Imam Hussein and to the extended Rah Gostar Naft family.
